What Our Customers Say

On the Tai Po Market Foodie Tour with the excellent guide, Silvana, we learned about the history of the region and got to taste things you probably would never get a chance to do elsewhere (particularly if you don’t speak the language!). Culinary delights included seafood, rice paper rolls, roast goose, snake soup and tofu dessert amongst other things. My husband went the extra mile in the snake restaurant and bought a shot of snake wine. Where it came from was full of snakes and lizards! Purely optional though! Great service. Excellent English. Highly recommended!

As a couple in our 50s touring Hong Kong, we participated in both the Temple Market Night Foodie Tour and the Tai Po Market Foodie Tour during our trip. We were lucky enough to have the fabulous Carrie as our tour guide on both days. She created a fun and inclusive atmosphere for the group, expertly guiding us through the crowds, with interesting comments on food, culture, habits and customs in Hong Kong. The Tai Po Market Foodie Tour definitely offers more adventurous food choices, plus we visited a local market and benefitted from Carrie’s knowledge about Chinese medicine and herbs as well as cooking. We also got to visit a local temple and learn about religious customs – this went far beyond a food trip and definitely exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Hong Kong like a local.
