Did the Temple Street tour, which is actually a swing through Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok and Jordan neighborhoods. I had the privilege of touring with my simply fantastic guide, Jamie. Jamie has lived in HK since he was one and speaks fluent Cantonese. The sampling of foods was just right and gave you a feel for each stop. Snacks included fish balls, egg puffs, stinky tofu, sweet and sour wonton dish and then we finished off with a substantial meal at a seafood restaurant at the end. That coupled with Jamie’s enthusiasm for Hong Kong made this a great night out. Honestly it was like hanging out with an old friend. We loved our tour of the street food around Jordan with Hong Kong Foodie Tasting Tours! As a family who loves food and prioritizes getting to really know the local cuisine and traditions surrounding food and dining-practices, we always opt for food tours whenever we go somewhere new. This tour was one of the best we’ve had for giving us a tasting experience we could never have replicated on our own (i.e. many discrete holes-in-the-wall with no English menus or speakers) and for simultaneously providing us with answers to many of our burning questions about culture, economic, and social life in HK, all thanks to our very knowledgable tour guide. Temple Street Night Market Foodie Tour is a Must-Do

I’ve done three tours with this company and completely recommend all of them to everyone. The Temple tour is a slight step above the more basic food in the Central tour; so if you are looking for something a little more adventurous I would definitely pick this place. We tried some amazing food including fried fish balls, stinky tofu, and some of the best oysters in black bean sauce. The tour guide Carrie was amazing! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and gave a wonderful tour. The company is also great! They are very responsive the emails if you have any questions before your tour date. The tour location is easy for anyone to find via the MTR. Make sure to come hungry! Lots of delicious food awaits.
